Job Description

Handle Recruitment are working alongside a cutting edge fashion company who have offices in New York, Japan, India and are rapidly growing their London office. They are looking to recruit an accounts assistant to join them in their quirky head office based in Central London on a temp to perm basis. You will be working alongside the Finance Manager and Accountant managing both sides of the ledger, in addition to assisting with month end duties. The role requires someone who can work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and is very detail orientated.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledger processes
  • Month end duties
  • Cash flow management
  • Assisting with weekly payroll and employee benefits
  • Fixed asset register maintenance
  • Tax compliance
  • Providing support where required across the team and any ad hoc duties
  • Data entry
  • Ad hoc duties

The role is a temporary position which will turn permanent, based on performance and study will be potentially be offered. To be considered for this role you will need to have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage50, supported by strong communication skills. A positive and proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team will be beneficial within this role.
