Job Description

Handle are working with a Global Media Giant in search of a Finance Manager. This role will sit in the International Entertainment team, where you will be liasing with international outsourced accounts team. You will be responsible for all the the customer facing activities, and will need excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills along with data management skills and ability to slice and dice varying amounts of information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relations with key Stakeholders, Commercial Finance and Sales teams
  • Work closely with the stakeholders locally to manage sales strategy for risk customers and customer reliability review
  • Responsible for all credit management, customer-facing activities and invoice to cash processes across UK distribution businesses
  • Responsible for Theatrical & Digital billing activities
  • Work closely with the outsourced team internationally
  • Co-ordinate accounts receivable related escalations between teams, customers, distributors
  • Oversee and enhance processes and communications between the teams and the outsourced functions
  • Oversee and enhance Supply Chain processes and communications
  • Manage the oversight of all credit management activities, including risk analysis and limit modifications
  • Manage the disputes process
  • Review & approval of commercial pricing disputes
  • Monthly review of TV AR ledger and provide reporting and analysis to senior management
  • Approve new/modified master data files and credit management changes
  • Review & approval of SOX reports with supporting back up documentations
  • Internal meetings & special projects
  • Provide training on new functionality as necessary
  • Provide overall audit support as necessary
  • Compliance with Statutory, Audit & Company requirements
  • Occasional travel to the outsourced teams
  • Serve as an SAP Super User

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Qualified Accountant: ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience of working in a large complex Media/TV/Entertainment organisations
  • Experience of managing, motivating & developing others
  • Strong Microsoft office skills
  • SAP and ERP experience strongly preferred
