Job Description

We are looking for a First Line IT Support Contractor to work on a short term assignment with one of our media clients based in London.

This will be a weekly rolling contract, and we need someone who is available to start immediately.

The role itself will involve working as part of a small IT team, providing first line support to an office of around 250 users. You will need to deal with people on the phone and face to face, and use the IT helpdesk system to log tickets and work them through to resolution. You will also get involved in setting up new users, and moving existing users to other parts of the office.

To be considered for this role you must have proven experience in a first line support role, ideally in a media or creative environment. In addition, we are looking for the following;

  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10 and PC/Laptop hardware set-up and configuration.
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2010 / 2016 with an emphasis on MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • Familiarity with common IT peripherals (printers, mobile phone, ipads).

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a successful company in the media sector. It is vitally important that you are available for an immediate start. There is a possibility that the role may become longer term in the future.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please send your CV to Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment.
