Job Description

We are looking for a First Line IT Support Engineer to join a leading sports brand based in North London and help provide IT support for their growing user base.

Working for an instantly recognisable international sporting brand, you will provide technical support for a demanding user base in a collaborative working environment. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves technology and thrives on providing exceptional customer service to build a career in IT support.

The core focus of this role will be to provide technical support to users based across locations in North London. This will mean dealing with people on the phone, via email and face to face, and working quickly to understand problems and provide effective resolutions. You will work with a broad range of technologies, and at all times will need to maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure you are managing your workload effectively.

This is an entry level role, so you don't need to have loads of experience in IT Support (although some would be good), but you will need to demonstrate a desire to build a career in this area. You may have done some IT Support work as part of a placement year at university, or as a part time role, or an IT course / qualification. You'll need to have an obvious interest in IT, including a solid understanding of both Windows and Mac technologies. You will also need to be willing to learn, great at problem solving and able to work under your own initiative.

In addition, we are looking for people who are able to deliver a high level of customer service. You will need to keep calm under pressure, empathize with users, and go the extra mile to get the job done. We're looking for someone who is going to love being at work, who will be able to interact with colleagues on a professional and a social level, and someone who likes to have fun!

Finally, due to the multiple locations, you need to have a driving license, and ideally your own vehicle.

This is a great opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic person to start their career in IT support with a company that will provide training and guidance, but also an amazing environment in which to work. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment for more information.
