An iconic global entertainment publisher is looking for a Front-End Developer to join their growing London based team and help to develop the front end of their website and contribute to the overall success of their web presence.
Working as part of a small but talented team, you will take responsibility for all front end related tasks, which in turn will contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of business critical websites and digital products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a unique and innovative company, and play a key role in the delivery of a visually appealing, highly engaging and interactive online experience.
This will be a broad and ever changing role, where your core focus will be to develop, enhance and support the core websites. Working closely with both back end developers and the design teams, you will need to be able to manage your workload effectively to get projects delivered on time. You will need to work with users to understand the needs of the business, but also use your technical expertise to make suggestions and ensure solutions are adhering to web trends and utilising new technologies where appropriate.
To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in a Front End / Web Development role. Technically, you will need to demonstrate evidence of where you have used the following;
- HTML5 / LESS / SASS / CSS
- Experience integrating with server-side code (MVC experience preferable)
- Version control (ideally SVN)
In addition, you will need experience working with content heavy sites, integrating social media feeds and interactive elements, and a broad knowledge of digital trends. We are looking for someone who is able to bring ideas, make suggestions, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
