Job Description

Global Head of Production Finance - Film, TV & Animation

As the Global Head of Production Finance, you will be responsible for the financial management of all projects in Film & TV, Animation and special projects, across all international studios. You will manage the budget and bid submissions in partnership with the new business team, as well as managing all aspects of Production Accounting including line management of a team of Production Accountants across our studios globally.

Acting as a key business partner to the Senior Leadership Team by making recommendations, and leading the production of analysis and reporting needed for strategic planning and decision-making. You will also coach and support Producers and Production Managers to analyse, forecast and report accurate financial information for their projects.

You will also work to ensure your teams are supported with changes in scope of projects through monitoring change orders and raising and signing off changes with clients in a timely manner. You will also partner with the Information Management Systems (IMS) team to develop and implement effective production finance solutions to improve process and reporting efficiency.

Must Have

  • Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA and educated to a Bachelor's or Master's level with an emphasis on accounting and finance preferred
  • Experience in a Head of Finance, or Senior Finance role within Film, TV, Animation or production
  • Experience of managing production accounts across multiple global sites
  • 7 to 10 year's of experience in television, feature film or media production accounting
  • Demonstrable knowledge of global production tax incentive schemes and related processes, including knowledge of transfer pricing & film tax credits
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders over multiple sites
  • The ability to deliver engaging presentations with clear, concise information to global senior management teams
  • Extensive experience of forecasting and budgeting within a global creative industry
  • The ability to "see the bigger picture" work with a strategic focus and implement effective changes within the global team structure
  • Extensive experience of forecasting and budgeting within a global creative industry
