Job Description

Handle Recruitment are looking for a bright, engaging and enthusiastic junior candidate to join a fantastic leading music company as an Expenses Assistant, on a permanent basis.

This role will be part of the UK Shared Service Centre and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To support Finance function working primarily on employee expenses
  • Main point of contact for business driven travel & expenses issues for UK employees
  • Ensuring that all expense claims are paid to company policy and timelines
  • Training new UK employees on the expenses system
  • Preparation of monthly T&E reports for Central companies
  • Assist with implementation of new Travel booking function in expenses system and training of all employees on this
  • Input and transmission of daily urgent and overseas payments
  • Filing and archiving of journals and employee expenses
  • Assist and provide cover for other accounting functions in UK Shared Service Centre
  • Responsible for input of all journals raised by Finance team based at Shared Service Centre
  • Managing and reconciling company petty cash float

This is an ideal position for a bright, confident school leaver or graduate to gain experience and a working knowledge of a multi-national finance department. We are looking for:

  • IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to remain focused whilst working under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Cheerful disposition
