We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for one of our favourite clients, a market leader in events for the creative communications industry. This is an incredibly exciting time to be working for them as they are in the run up to their flagship international summer event, attracting the most exciting talent in the creative industry.
This role, which reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for a team of 2 marketing executives and a database executive, will involve planning and executing bold and brilliant global multi-channel marketing campaigns that achieve both revenue and customer volumes for entries and delegates. It will also entail working with the in-house house design, digital, production and copywriting teams to ensure all activity is delivered on brand, on time and on budget, and will be primarily responsible for reporting on marketing effectiveness across the business. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Marketing leadership team, balancing the business goal of ensuring a results-oriented efficient operation with the brand imperative of having creativity at the heart of all marketing output and behaviours. Also of key importance to this role is overseeing the communications for the company's events during a transition to a new CRM and CMS platform, so previous involvement in transformation over to such platforms would be ideal. Also, experience of marketing automation platforms such as Sitecore or Marketo, would be highly valuable, although not necessarily a pre-requisite.
We are interested in hearing from experienced marketing managers (B2c or B2B) with a strong track record in brand marketing environment (client or agency side). Operational digital, and some offline, marketing experience is essential, as well as a proven record of running successful big accounts (in terms of client management / production) in an advertising or media agency. We are looking for a hard working marketer with experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns for global brands. Ideally we would like to speak to candidates with direct experience either managing digital advertising campaigns (social and display) or through an agency.
Crucial for this position is first-hand experience of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), as well as experience of marketing automation tools such as Marketo or Sitecore is essential, and a good working knowledge of Google Analytics.
