Handle have partnered with a pioneering and fast growth creative tech business to find a People Director - here you will support an inspirational Founder with an exciting vision and really strong senior leadership team behind you!

If you enjoy a broad generalist remit covering everything from the HR strategy to culture, engagement, talent, development and then this is the role for you.

Managing a small team, you will support the CEO to maintain a people focused and progressive business as well as build an infrastructure in line with the company's growth plans. As they are in their growth phase, you must have experience building an HR function from scratch or joining a creative business that is scaling up.

This is an incredibly fast-moving environment with ever-changing focuses and last minute decisions so taking this in your stride is paramount. Having the ability and confidence to present your own ideas to the CEO and the gravitas to work with the business to drive these initiatives is an exciting aspect of this role. You will focus not only on the HR strategy but also being the driving force in maintaining a collaborative culture, highlighting rising stars in the business and developing existing talent.

You must have experience working in creative companies and ideally would have a background working for a mix of start-ups and larger businesses. The business is bursting with incredible talent and people who are genuinely passionate about the service they provide and the values of the company. You will be based in gorgeous offices in Central London that reflect the innovative and passionate culture of the company and people around you.

Upskilling managers will be key in this role so having a mentoring/coaching approach is ideal. Being able to get under the skin of the business and truly understand the CEO's vision and helping this to become a reality as the business continues to grow and expand internationally is so important.

Being ambitious, a self-starter, extremely personable and a credible HR professional is vital as you will be working with a senior exec team whilst also being hands-on and happy rolling up your sleeves supporting the wider business.
