Handle have partnered with an innovative and scaling startup within the tech and eCommerce space to find their first Head of People!
Over the last year the company has continuously scaled up with further growth plans expected, they are now looking to bring on board their first permanent HR hire.
Due to the nature of working in a startup, your remit will be really broad and will cover the full generalist spectrum. You will shape everything from the recruitment strategy, to the learning programmes, right through to driving the company culture, values and engagement offering.
This is a founder led business so experience working with founders and entrepreneurs is ideal in order to truly be able to support them from both a business and HR perspective.
It is an ever evolving business as they are always researching new tech products and AI programmes in order to be offering consumers the best customer experience and most accurate products for their bespoke needs. Previous experience working in a scaling startup and setting up the people function from scratch is ideal in order to go in and hit the ground running.
With full ownership of the employee lifecycle and HR agenda, you will partner directly with the senior leadership team and founder as well as be a key decision maker for the business.
- Manage the full recruitment process across the business, working closely with hiring managers to ensure you are hiring the right talent for the long term business goals.
- Take full ownership of creating and delivering the people strategy as well as develop key people frameworks: performance management, career progression, learning & development and compensation.
- Design a world class employee experience from the minute they are onboarded, through to the celebration of milestones.
- Work with the leadership team to define company values and engagement initiatives
