Are you looking for the opportunity to build an HR function in a well-established start-up? Do you enjoy a varied role where you can drive HR initiatives across the business and add real value?

Handle are excited to be working with a fast growth and extremely successful tech start-up who are heading into their next growth phase. They are looking to bring in a People Manager to be the expert in HR and culture, ideally someone incredibly passionate and driven who they can progress to People Director level in the next year!

You will own the people side of the function and your role will have a big focus on building and embedding learning and development into the company. You will look to enhance the culture and revamp processes and ways of working.

This is the perfect role for someone looking for a blank canvas with the enormous opportunity to put your stamp on the HR strategy and ways of working. You must have a background working within a scaling tech company previously and be able to work at pace.

Your main focus will be to build the strategy and play a key role in developing everything from day to day processes to culture projects, as well as evolving the HR team in line with the company's growth plans.

This role will be a true mix of strategy and hands-on work, there is so much exciting project work to lead on and initiatives to drive so coming with your own ideas and being adaptable will be vital.

Strong stakeholder management is crucial to the success of this role and so we're looking for applicants with previous business partnering experience in a professional, yet creative industry or environment.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Advise all staff on HR policies and introduce new processes rolled out across the business.
  • Assist Managers with the monthly review system
  • Manage the full HR remit including ER, L&D, Comp and Bens/Reward etc.
  • Create and lead on multiple HR projects
  • Coach Managers on new ways of working, probations, performance management and training initiatives.
  • Be a true business partner
  • Really shape the HR function and HR offering
