Head of Programming - Venue Group

Salary Competitive DOE

Handle Recruitment is working with a leading Arts organisation to find a Head of Programming to join their team in the heart of the West End.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and delivering an influential content strategy
  • Applying an enhanced & tactical method to content delivery
  • Driving new and current business and look to create new relationships to generate new revenue streams
  • Reflecting the quality brand reputation
  • Managing the accounts of existing clients
  • Handling all enquiries concerning concerts and stage hires, including awards ceremonies, film and photographic shoot for all theatres
  • Promoting and providing the highest level of customer service
  • Actively promoting the availability of the Theatres and their potential uses
  • Using traditional and fresh sales techniques to deliver maximum returns and produce additional revenue
  • Negotiating and handling all areas of terms for bookings
  • Ensuring the contract terms are met at all times

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous background in sales and location hiring or music promotion
  • A demonstrated track record of securing quality content
  • Previous experience in drafting and negotiating contact terms
  • An outstanding network of contacts within the live entertainment industry
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
