Job Description

Head of Technical Applications - D365 / AX2012

* D365 / Microsoft Dynamics or AX2012 experience is essential *

Position available in London OR Wellingborough

Take on the lead role in globally supporting and evolving an existing diverse technical application landscape which includes in house legacy systems as well as leading the implementation of D365 for Finance & Operations business application.


  • Owner of the technical applications road-map
  • Manage and mentor the Application Development and Administration teams
  • Continually evolve knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Enterprise Applications
  • Develop release management & test capability to support efficient upgrades and releases
  • Introduce Change Management processes
  • Own and manage key 3rd party suppliers
  • Plan and Manage the Application Production & Non - Production environments
  • Support the Global IT Director in the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecasts

Essential Requirements:

  • Natural Team Leader
  • Innovative and technology driven
  • Experience running a global team
  • Knowledge of development tools and software, VSTS & Jira desirable
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Applications experience
  • End to end ERP Life-cycle experience,
  • Knowledge of Azure/ LCS / PaaS / SaaS based technology
  • Broad knowledge of ESB-based communications
  • Demonstrable Project Management skills


  • Service Oriented IT architectures is desirable
