Job Description

This represents a fantastic opportunity to join this prestigious multi-genre content owner. You will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy for UK & Eire. Additionally you will lead a team of sales executives, taking ownership of building sales capability.


Reporting into the Commercial Director, your key areas of focus and responsibility will include;

  • Delivering the agreed financial targets for TV Sales as part of the wider UK & Eire region's revenue and profit targets
  • Developing and implementing the regional sales strategy
  • Managing, nurturing and leading a team of sales people
  • Contributing programme sales expertise to major negotiations, including complex output deals
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of market conditions, partners and competitors, regularly assessing and prioritising sales opportunities
  • Managing relationships with senior programme acquisition executives at key broadcasters

  • Extensive experience in programme sales ideally gained in the UK & Eire regions
  • Substantial experience in a senior management role with P&L responsibility
  • Understanding of the UK broadcasting industry
  • In-depth knowledge of the global media landscape
  • Thorough understanding of competing channels' and distributors'strategies and propositions in the UK market
