An incredible opportunity for an HR Director on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for a high profile media business based in Central London.
We are looking to appoint the HR Lead who will drive strategic and operational excellence throughout the company.
You will work as a business partner alongside the directors & senior managers advising on succession planning, re-structures, complex employment law issues, talent management and retention developing staff, career mapping, objective setting, management coaching.
Ensuring the managers have the right tools & training in place to be able to manage their teams effectively, in line with the business plans and company objectives. Ensure managers are using the new appraisal review system, along with role model behaviours correctly. This in turn will ensure we have a talented team in place through the businesses, and a strong leadership team.
We are looking for an Inspiring HR Director who will drive a strong and aligned culture and engagement plan throughout the whole group, ensuring a low rate of staff turnover.
Developing and implementing a cohesive talent strategy and succession plan which focuses on attracting, retaining and developing our talent.
You will work closely with our CFO and COO in an ongoing operations review of the entire company, this may involve re-structures, streamlining the business, general cost savings, organisational design.
Lead the annual bonus review process, work with the managers on deciding what percentage each employee is going to receive for personal performance bonus, presenting this to the CEOs and CFO for sign off.
Lead the annual salary review process, again partner with managers on this before presenting to CEOs and CFO for sign off.
Create and manage a Learning & Development strategy/plan for all the businesses for 2017 in-line with the company objectives/business plan, including reviewing the leadership & development programme for all managers.
The HR Director is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:
- Experience working within a multi-faceted, fast paced and challenging organisation, happy with constant change
- Strong HR generalist at Director Level, exceptional ER knowledge.
- Excellent managerial experience.
- Experience rolling out company wide learning & development plans.
- Experience in managing change/restructures.
- Strong personality, able to influence senior stakeholders.
- The gravitas to present ideas and concepts effectively to a diverse audience.
- Strategic thinker.
- Adaptable to change.
