Are you looking for a hands-on HR Manager position where you can really make an impact on the business and take ownership for all HR offering? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced creative company where the employees are at the heart of the business?

Handle are working with an incredible international arts company who are looking for a strong HR Manager with a passion for their industry to come on board for a 12 month maternity cover.

We are looking for an ambitious HR Generalist ready to manage everything top to bottom, as well as partner with all heads of departments to understand business needs.

You will ideally come from a creative background and be looking to work in a smaller company where you will be able to have major impact and support the business with their incredible yearly projects.

Reporting into a nurturing and experienced HR Director, you will work very autonomously across everything from ER, recruitment, talent development, the employee lifecycle, reward and recognition programmes and everything in between!

You will have a coaching and mentoring approach and have a big focus on building solid relationships with line managers and heads of departments.

You will embrace innovation, always be thinking outside of the box and be looking at ways to improve processes and ways of working.

This is a broad generalist HR position so having experience managing the full HR remit is essential. The culture is progressive and holistic, with well-being and development being at the centre of the company values

Role Overview:

  • Lead on key HR and talent initiatives across the business
  • Take full ownership of all day to day HR operations as well as business partner with all heads of departments
  • Coach managers and lead on all ER issues
  • Champion forward thinking and play an active role in work force planning and recruitment
  • Manage HR and talent budgets
  • Update and maintain the HRIS
  • Be the first point of contact for all employee queries
  • Support the HR Director with salary reviews, succession planning and performance management.
