Here at Handle, we have partnered with a luxury menswear brand, who are in the middle of a huge transformation.
The brand have strategically closed around 100 stores/concessions over the last 18 months, and are launching in A/W18 with an entirely new product and store rollout. The brand have strong financial backing and investment, and the first of these stores will be a beautiful corner store at a high profile West London location and will lead to a roll out of carefully selected high profile concept stores across UK, EMEA the Middle East and Australia.
All social media for the brand has been switched off, with a brand new website/socials launching in October. With shirt making at the heart of this menswear business, the brand are re-establishing their unique personality. The business currently has a 'start-up' feel, and the successful candidate would be joining a warm, forward-thinking and progressive HR team in their busy Victoria HQ.
Due to this huge period of regeneration, the company is currently around 90 people within Head Office, and 6 within the current HR team. The team are looking for an experienced HR Manager who will embody both the brands values, and play a key role in driving the people agenda for the brand.
Reporting into a newly appointed Head of HR and Development, the successful candidate will provide exceptional service for their client groups, by sharing expertise, coaching and delivering on a wide range of HR subjects including Talent Acquisition and People Development. The client groups for this role cover UK & Ireland Retail (which will expand through Europe as the brand grows) and also cover HQ functions Finance, IT Supply Chain and Warehouse. The role has been strategically split across both Retail and HQ, with services shared between this role and an existing HRBP. The role also has direct line management for a Retail Talent Coordinator and a HR Assistant.
We are looking for an exceptional HR Manager, with significant experience as a HRBP. You will have demonstrable experience in building strong relationships, experience of making commercial decisions and be able to handle ER cases with gravitas. We are looking for someone who has a global mind-set, with a natural interest in luxury branding, clienteling environments and 'storytelling'.
