Handle are working with an award-winning, international design and distribution company supplying tech gadgets, gifts and home-wares to a large portfolio of high street retailers and online marketplaces, based in Ruislip, West London.
The current HR Manager is about to head off on maternity leave, and we are looking for a hands on, experienced HR Manager to hit the ground running and support the business during what is quite a challenging time economically. The ideal candidate will be able to start within the next few weeks, and benefit from a strong handover!
The business are currently 70 in the UK, with small offices across EMEA that the role will also support. The role reports direct to the company MD, and operates as a stand-alone function.
The role will very much focus around the day to day support of the business from a HR point of view, so managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, L&D, recruitment, performance management and working closely with the senior leadership teams on varying business incentives.
Due to the current global pandemic, there will be business critical project work that will arise, and it is key that potential candidates have strong employment law experience, and be able to demonstrate experience in redundancies and re-structures, and be able to quickly adapt and utilise evolving government schemes such as furlough.

Candidate who have experience using HRIS systems, in particular Iris HR would be beneficial.
