We have been briefed on a brand new ongoing temp role to join the team at a global television broadcaster as a HR Officer. The contract is for an initial 3 months, with the possibility of extension. Due to the current pandemic, the role is likely to be entirely remote, as the business take steps to safely welcome teams back to the office over the next few months. As a TV production company, this has been an incredibly busy period, and very much business as usual!
The ideal start date would be ASAP, so would suit candidates who are immediately available.
Interviewing and on boarding will also be remote. Candidates are required to have their own laptop!
This role will be to support the HR team with generalist duties during a period of busy change within the company. As they are a television network, they deal with a high volume of freelancers, experience in this area would be advantageous. You will also work in conjunction with the production and finance department. The role reports into the HR Specialist, and joins a HR Executive to form a busy team of 3. The ideal candidate will be happy to roll their sleeves up and be responsible for HR Admin duties, as well as stepping up to support the team on other areas of the employee life cycle and some ER. Candidates who have experience in and who are confident working with line managers and senior team members would be advantageous.

Recruitment coordination - scheduling interviews, writing JD's (This is mainly the recruitment of freelancers)
