We are looking for someone with strong experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager along with a solid infrastructure engineering background to join a global publisher, based in London.
With a diverse portfolio of instantly recognisable magazine and website brands, published in countries across the world, this is a company going from strength to strength as they adapt to the changing face of publishing in the 21st century. As part of this continual evolution they are going through a major technical and digital transformation, and AEM is a big part of that. This is a great opportunity to join a world famous brand and play a key role in the support and administration of their technical systems.
The core focus of this role will be the support, maintenance and administration of the AEM digital asset management platform, and the infrastructure that underpins it. This is a complex, business critical system which interacts with other core applications. You will need to take ownership of it, which will include resolving any technical issues, identifying problems and proposing solutions. You will work closely with other technical teams as well as business users.
This is a hands-on technical role, so along with your AEM responsibilities you will regularly be working with server and network technologies, programming languages and other core business applications. You will help to test new systems, and will be expected to document changes and keep stakeholders updated.
To be considered for this role you must have a background in an Infrastructure / Operations / Support Engineering role or similar, ideally in a media environment. You will also need to be able to demonstrate the following;
- Solid experience supporting and administering Adobe Experience Manager, ideally 6.x or Adobe CQ 5.x.
- Strong support experience across a range of technologies and applications, including experience working to support best practices such as ITIL.
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux servers.
- Exposure to Adobe CC Enterprise (InDesign, InCopy and PDF).
In addition, any experience with Amazon Web Services, content management systems, image processing tools and Mac OSX would be highly beneficial. You will need strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to make suggestions and influence stakeholders to drive through solutions, and you must be comfortable working in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a world famous brand and play a key role in ensuring their technical systems meet and support the ambitions of the business. If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you - please contact Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment for more information.
