An exciting opportunity for an interim Head of HR to cover maternity contract within this luxury beauty brand. Working in a large team of 11 supporting a client group of 2000 and reporting to the HR Director you will have responsibility for a small team within the HR function.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within HR in the luxury retail / beauty industry. We are looking for an established Head of HR who will support the HR Director in the delivery and implementation of the people strategies and objectives as well as proactively managing the day to day responsibilities of the HR team.
This is a true generalist role which will encompass all aspects of HR including, recruitment, learning and development, policies and procedures, coaching and developing line managers, annual performance reviews, comp & bens, salary reviews, appraisals, flexible working, employee engagement survey and employee engagement. Health & Safety, including risk assessments for all employees.
A large part of this role will be geared towards employee relations, inclusive of change management, redundancies, TUPE, tribunals, disciplinaries and grievances etc, so a strong understanding of UK employment law and legislation is required.
There will be some travel required across the UK and to Paris on occasion, so a level of flexibility is required.
Skills required to fulfil the role:
- Proven experience in either a Business Partner or HR Manager role
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Employee relations knowledge is essential
- Able to prioritise and work to deadline and to work on own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence at all levels.
- CIPD qualified
