Job Description

  • Use data and self-sourcing techniques to identify and recruit International Buyers for a hosting programme at one of the Exhibitions
  • Work with the Client to identify, define and refine their selection criteria for selecting Buyers for the programme
  • Foster strong relationships with chosen International Buyers in the run up to the show, understanding their buying requirements, helping them book their accommodation / flights and ensure they maximise their time
  • Arrange 121 meetings on behalf of the Buyers with relevant Exhibitors
  • Manage the onsite experience of the Buyers
  • Conduct follow up interviews with Buyers and Exhibitors to understand the success of the programme and collect all required details needed for reporting
  • Supporting Marketing, Project Delivery and Content teams who will work on the wider Client programme to deliver seamless results for the end clients

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 2/3 years' experience of recruitment, sales or account management
  • Excellent communication skills, as this role will require building relationships with Buyers over the phone from across the world
  • Strong client and / or stakeholder management skills - a customer orientated approach
  • Highly organised, proactive with an initiating attitude
  • Results focused - must have experience of hitting metrics / targets in the past
  • Experience in delegate or exhibitor sales
  • Experience of working within the events industry
  • Experience working with data
  • Degree in business or marketing
  • Multiple languages desirable but not required
  • Adaptable and flexible
