Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform a comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation
  • In time, serve as a point of contact for the investment community
  • Create presentations, press releases and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors
  • Maintain and develop a 12-month rolling company investor relations plan, including helping establish the optimum type and mix of shareholders (investor targeting)
  • Oversee the production of the Annual Report in conjunction with other relevant business verticals
  • Monitoring analyst reports and summarising them for senior management
  • Manage in-house consensus expectations around sales, GM%, key OPEX lines and overall EBIT%, highlighting outliers
  • Monitor share price and valuation of the company
  • Providing feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of how the company is being managed and their view of its financial results - in essence representing the views of the investor community to the management team
  • Attend investor/analyst meetings, keeping a detailed account of such interactions. Some overseas travel is required.
  • Maintaining a database of all investor/broker contact
  • Create detailed regular (weekly) reports of sell-side and buy-side interaction to Group CFO/CEO
  • Liaise with the company's retained stockbrokers, investment bankers and financial PR advisors


  • IR professional - with strong finance background, preferably with retail
  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified
  • Producing high quality, accurate analysis and communicating insight to senior management concisely
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Working with finance/IR systems and delivering systems change/improvement
  • History of outstanding performance from academic achievements and in career to date, with rapid career trajectory


  • £75000 - £85000 per annum
