We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic IT Support Assistant to join an expanding global agency and take responsibility for providing IT support for their busy London office.
This is a company that is going from strength to strength, and as they continue to grow they need someone who can become the go-to person for IT issues, and who can also help to deliver the broad range of projects that are in the pipeline. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious company that is constantly evolving, and play a key role in the provision of a first class IT service to the business.
The core focus of this role is to be the first point of contact for any IT related problems, as well as helping to maintain the IT infrastructure and to deliver IT projects. You will need to take ownership of problems, and use your troubleshooting skills to investigate issues and provide fixes. It's a busy, demanding environment and you will be expected to use your initiative to prioritise your workload. In addition to reactive support tasks, you will also be heavily involved in the general upkeep of the infrastructure, from setting up new users to helping to deliver technical projects.
This is a hugely varied role that will require a diverse skill set along with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Not only will you need a broad technical knowledge, but first class communication and customer service skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels within a company. You will need to be flexible in your approach and happy to go the extra mile when required.
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in an IT Support role, ideally in a fast paced creative environment. You must also be able to clearly demonstrate your expertise with the following;
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Active Directory
- Windows 7 and 10
- Exchange 2013 and/or Office 365 Exchange Admin
- Mac OS
- LAN Support and Network Support
We are also looking for people with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work autonomously and to adapt to a constantly changing environment, and a keen interest in all aspects of IT.
This is a great opportunity to work for a successful, growing company and play a key role in the delivery of a first class IT service to the business. If this sounds of interest then please contact Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment for more information.
