We are looking for a Mac Support Engineer to join a hugely successful computer games company, based in London, and play a key role in supporting both users and the underlying infrastructure.
This is a great role for someone who is passionate about technology, open minded in their approach, who loves delivering top notch customer service and who gets excited about new challenges. It's an environment where technology is at the forefront, but they are not wedded to certain processes or ways of doing things, and are always keen to hear new ideas. We are happy to consider applications from people with varying levels of experience - you could be at the start of your career in IT, or could be a more experienced engineer, but what is non-negotiable is a positive attitude, great communication skills and a passion for technology. A love of gaming would be a huge advantage too!
The role itself will be an all-encompassing IT Support role, with a strong focus on Mac technologies. You will be responsible for taking ownership of issues and working them through to resolution, no matter how big or small. You will also be involved in supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, and will be heavily involved in project work. The IT team pride themselves on the high level of service they provide, and you will need to share this outlook.
In terms of experience, you will have worked in an IT Support role or similar, and ideally this will have been in a small to medium sized environment, where you are used to dealing with a broad range of tasks and using your initiative to manage your workload. We are open to considering applications from people with varying levels of technical experience, and training will be given where required.
Technically, you must have experience with Mac OSX, and ideally Windows operating systems as well. You will be comfortable with cloud based technologies (Office 365 / G Suite or similar), and ideally will have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Unity. Basic networking experience would be preferable, as would exposure to DNS / DHCP / TCP/IP. Every else you can learn, but you will need to be able to demonstrate your passion for technology and how you keep up to date with trends and new products. We are looking for people who love what they do, and are in their element when talking about technology!
This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a company at the forefront of their industry, and become a key part of their technical team. If this sounds interesting, please contact Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment for more information.
