Job Description

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of Apple technologies and excellent customer service skills to join one of the world's most iconic fashion brands in an IT Helpdesk Support role.

Based in London and supporting staff across multiple locations, you will be the first point of call for all IT problems and will need to use your excellent Mac skills to resolve them. This is a great opportunity to work for an instantly recognisable fashion brand and play a key role in providing first class IT support to the business.

The core focus of the role will be to provide first line support for all users, and to take responsibility for troubleshooting problems and resolving issues. This will mean dealing with people on the phone, via email and face to face, and you will need to work quickly to understand issues, and keep users updated regarding resolutions. You will also be involved in day to day support of the IT infrastructure, and will have the opportunity to work on projects.

To be considered for this role you must have experience in some form of technical support role, ideally in a creative environment. This is a junior position, so we are happy to consider applications from people who have gained this experience through a university placement year or apprenticeship, or who have worked in an Apple store. In addition, we are looking for the following;

  • Excellent skills in Mac OSX and iOS, and ideally exposure to Windows 7, 8 and 10.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office for Mac and Windows.
  • A good understanding of printers, networking, switches and Wi-Fi.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, JAMF Casper Suite and Active Directory.

In addition, we are looking for people with very strong customer service skills. You must be able to communicate effectively on the phone, face to face and via email, and will understand the importance of keeping users updated at all times. You will need a positive attitude, a proactive approach and the ability to manage your workload and prioritise your tasks.

This is a great opportunity to work for a successful, forward thinking business and become a vital part of the IT team. If this sounds of interest then we'd love to hear from you - please contact Will Fraser at Handle Recruitment for more information.
