A leading London based Entertainment Company are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their growing team and manage the delivery of various technical services to the business, the most important of which will be the integration of a brand new ticketing platform.
With a rich history and an impressive range of instantly recognisable products, this is a company operating at the forefront of their industry, and who are set to make significant changes to their ticketing processes. This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in the implementation phase, and to take longer term ownership of this, and other technical supplier relationships.
The core focus of this role will be to manage the various relationships between the business and their technical suppliers. A major part of this will involve the ticketing platform, and you will be heavily involved during the implementation phase, and tasked with ensuring what is delivered meets the needs of the business. You will also own this relationship in the longer term, so will need to continually monitor performance and strive for continual improvement.
In addition, you will take responsibility for the delivery of other technical services, including IT support and other IT providers. This will mean establishing and growing strong working relationships, managing regular reviews, and looking for ways to make things better. This is going to be a key role within the company, and you will need to make strategic and operational decisions, along with being continually aware of new technologies or developments that could benefit the business.
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in a Service Delivery / IT Management / Project Management role or similar, but even more importantly it is essential that you have worked with ticketing systems or platforms. In addition, we are looking for the following;
- Experience managing outsourced technical service providers and negotiating service contracts.
- Experience managing productive and positive relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing a budget.
- Evidence of operating at a senior level within a business.
- Proven experience of implementing business critical IT systems and hardware.
