We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst with experience supporting both Windows and Mac users to join a global entertainment agency and help provide first line support for their London office.
Working for an elite business that is highly respected in the entertainment industry, you will be tasked with being the first point of call for any technical issues that arise in the London office, as well as helping to support other offices when required. The core focus of this role will be to provide first class IT support to all users in the London office, along with supporting remote users as and when required. You will be the first point of contact for users, and will need to resolve issues in a timely and professional fashion, or escalate when appropriate. You will be working in a very fast paced environment with ever changing priorities, and will need to take ownership of problems and work quickly to troubleshoot issues. We are looking for people who are flexible and adaptable in their approach to work, who can understand the varying needs and requirements of the different users, and who possess first class problem solving skills and a highly logical approach to work.
In addition to your proven technical ability with both Microsoft and Apple technologies, it is absolutely critical that you have exceptional customer service skills. We are looking for people who are strong verbal and written communicators, who employ an empathetic approach to user problems and who have the emotional intelligence to understand the nuances of the different situations and personalities you will encounter. This is a demanding but highly rewarding work environment where you will need to be flexible and resourceful as you establish yourself as a key member of the team.
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of experience in an IT Support role, and will have supported Windows and Mac technologies at a first line / tier one level. Ideally you will have worked in the media or entertainment industry, but we will happily consider experience in any sector as long as you have supported a diverse and demanding user base. Technically, we are looking for proficiency with the following;
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting notebooks and desktops using both OSX and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Office 2016.
- Experience supporting printers, phones and tablets.
- Some exposure to Active Directory and/or Exchange.
- Ideally, experience supporting IP based phone systems (Cisco) and cloud based audio and video conferencing products (Lync, Jabber, Skype).
You will also need a confident and natural communication style, first class problem solving and troubleshooting skills, the ability to build effective working relationships with users, and a flexible and committed approach to work.
