Job Description

IT Sourcing & Contracts Manager - Media (Global)

We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing & Contract Manager to provide front line support for IT teams on all IT sourcing related matters. This is a great opportunity to continue developing your career in a Global media company based in London.

*Required:

  • Experience in IT operations ( IT sourcing manager, IT manager, system manager,)
  • Sourcing experience of IT services

The Role

  • Assist the business globally with regard to RFI, RFP and RFX creation and management processes;
  • Leverage existing supplier relationships
  • Define closely with IT Business and Legal potential risks
  • lead commercial negotiations with potential or existing suppliers
  • Ensure that Legal is sufficiently and succinctly appraised of risks
  • Have a sourcing level understanding of commercial contractual protections
  • working understanding of their pricing and licensing models

Skills

  • In-depth, working knowledge of IT operations; including software, networks, telecoms (fixed and mobile), SAAS, cloud computing, IT security, outsourcing, insourcing etc
  • Experience in IT operations ( IT sourcing manager, IT manager, system manager,)
  • Sourcing experience of IT services
  • Strategic sourcing/procurement knowledge
  • Manage commercial risk, in perfect coordination with IT stakeholders;
  • Keen interest in IT

Desirable:

  • French or German
  • Media Experience
