We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with excellent customer service skills to join an iconic lifestyle brand based in London, and work as part of the team tasked with providing IT support for a diverse business that operates across a number of different channels. Working in busy, vibrant environment where no two days are ever the same, this position will be integral in helping to ensure the delivery of first class IT support for a demanding user base. The core focus of this role will be to provide first and second line support for a company that is split into a number of different business functions. You will be working as part of a talented IT support team, and will be responsible for supporting users across multiple locations. You will need to answer calls and emails, log tickets, troubleshoot issues and either provide solutions or escalate problems, all the while keeping the user informed and updated. This is a very busy environment, so you will need to have your wits about you at all times, and will use your common sense and technical knowledge to manage and prioritize your workload.
You will be working in the most customer facing team within the IT department, so we are looking for people with impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Different parts of the business have different ways of working, so you will have to adapt accordingly, and will need to be able to work with a broad range of personalities. We are looking for people who are willing to go the extra mile, who have a real passion for technology, and who have the flexibility to thrive in an ever changing environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of experience in an IT Support role, and you must be used to working in a busy environment with continually evolving priorities. You will have worked with SLAs, and will be used to exceeding expectations. You will also have worked with some form of helpdesk software (ideally Zendesk).
Technically, we are looking for people with as broad a skill set as possible, as you will be working with a diverse range of technologies. You will have supported both Windows and Mac machines, and will have a good understanding of MS Exchange, Google Apps, Active Directory and Citrix. Additionally, any experience supporting creative software (Adobe), phones, printers, iPhones, Android OS and cloud based email technologies would be highly advantageous.
