A ground-breaking music technology business is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their growing team in London and play a key role in supporting their worldwide user base.
Working as part of a talented IT support team, you will be expected to deliver a high standard of technical support to a diverse user base in an ever evolving environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the music industry, and become an integral part of the team responsible for delivering a smooth and efficient IT service across the business.
The main focus of this role will be to provide first and second line user and infrastructure support primarily for the London office, but also for other offices remotely. You will be dealing with a diverse range of issues via email, over the phone and face to face, and will need to troubleshoot problems and find solutions, all the while keeping the user informed and updated. You will need to use your common sense and technical know-how to manage and prioritise your workload.
In addition to managing day to day IT support queries, you will also need to look for ways to continually improve systems and processes. You will have the opportunity to help supporting server and network devices, which will mean regular performance checks. Project work will be a sizeable proportion of your daily activities. You will work closely with other international teams as well as external suppliers, so you will need to be able to build effective working relationships with a diverse mix of people.
To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in an IT Support role, ideally with a company in the media / entertainment sector. In addition, we are looking for the following;
- A strong knowledge of Windows 7/10 and Mac OS
- General administration of Active Directory and Office 365
- Knowledge of iOS and Android devices, Office 2016 and experience with a support ticketing system
- Ideally, experience with Zoom, Okta and JAMF Casper
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Very strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
You will also need excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to manage your time and work on multiple projects simultaneously, and first class communication skills. Breadth of experience, a logical approach to problem solving and the ability to take ownership of issues through to a successful resolution is what we're looking for here.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company at the top of their game, and play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of a first class IT service across the business.
