A successful music business based in Central London is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide both user and infrastructure support in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Joining at a time of change, the company is looking to bring more IT resources in house and improve the responsiveness of IT support, and you will be integral to achieving this. This is an all-encompassing IT support role, where you will work closely with the CTO to ensure that the IT department is meeting the needs of the business. This will mean providing first and second line support, both over the phone and face to face, and managing issues through to a successful resolution. You will also be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the systems and network infrastructure, and the delivery of technical projects.
You will be working in a fast paced environment, with a demanding user base, so will need the ability to manage your workload and prioritise your tasks. You will need strong problem solving skills, along with the ability to deliver great customer service. We are looking for someone who is positive and enthusiastic, keen to learn and progress, and who has the confidence and ability to make suggestions and contribute towards the overall success of the IT department.
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record of commercial experience in an IT Support role, ideally in a media/entertainment environment. Technically, you must be comfortable with the following;
- Windows 7/8/10 and Windows servers
- Exchange and Office 365
- Active Directory
- Networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS)
- Phones, printers and peripherals
- Ideally, Mac products
In addition you will need strong communication, influencing and project management skills.
