A leading entertainment publisher with an iconic global brand is looking for a designer to join their growing team and take responsibility for the design of both print and digital assets to support marketing initiatives as well as overall company branding.
Working as part of a busy digital and marketing team, you will work alongside a senior designer to help deliver creative output for the company. This will include marketing collateral, print material, websites, emails and graphics for online and social media. You will work on a mixture of B2B and B2C projects to deliver assets for teams including publishing, commercial, TV and digital. You will also have responsibility for maintaining the brand guidelines, and providing input into how they can be continually improved.
You would be joining at a period of sustained growth, as the company looks to diversify its product offering, and this will afford you the opportunity to get involved with new initiatives and push the boundaries of the role. This is a fast paced work environment where you will always have lots on the go, you will be required to build relationships with colleagues across the business, and where you will have the opportunity to work on international projects.
To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience working as a designer in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, and we are happy to consider applications from people who have gained this experience through university placements / internships. We are looking for people who have worked with defined brand guidelines, but who has the creativity and confidence to suggest new ideas, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
In terms of design skills, we will be looking for strong portfolios first and foremost, so please include links in your application. In addition, we are looking for people who have experience with the following;
- Adobe CS5 or later, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Print design, including preparing documents and templates
- Digital design, including preparing layouts, banners, skins and mockups
- Strong artworking skills
- A good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, and exposure to UE/UX wireframing
Experience with or knowledge of 3D packages (Blender, 3DSMax, Cinema 4D, Maya) would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of modern HTML email standards, knowledge of responsive design techniques, and motion graphics (After Effects) experience. A qualification in a creative subject would be preferred, but more importantly we are looking for the core design skills and the right personality to thrive in this environment.
