Job Description
A global leader in the music industry is currently searching for a commercial IP lawyer who's looking for a highly visible role in a legal team operating at the heart of the business.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: drafting, negotiating and managing a variety of commercial agreements including those relating to live performances, digital licences, sales, digital distribution, e-commerce, IT service and maintenance, and general supplier and service contracts; liaising with a range of business partners including UK labels, the UK Broadcast team, digital account managers and third party content providers; and providing data protection and e-commerce law advice - to mention just a few.

The successful candidate will have c.1-3yrs PQE* with experience in IP, tech, commercial and, ideally, data protection; have excellent drafting and negotiation skills; and a demonstrable interest in digital music/media consumption. Ideally, you'll also have some music industry experience; a workable understanding of consumer law; and exposure to software development agreements.
