Job Description

Our client, a hugely successful global sports and entertainment agency, is currently searching for a qualified lawyer who's looking for a highly visible role in a legal team operating at the heart of the business.

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: drafting, negotiating and managing a variety of commercial agreements including those relating to rights sales, event production, sponsorship activation, and talent management (amongst many others); responding to ad-hoc legal queries across the business; managing commercial disputes; engaging external lawyers when required; assisting in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation; and supporting on corporate matters.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic record; 1-3yrs PQE* at a well-established law firm or in-house, with Commercial drafting experience (with some focus on media/entertainment desirable, but not essential); have a demonstrable interest in the entertainment or sports sectors; be commercially aware with an ability to apply the law to real-world business problems; and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
