Job Description

Handle are working with a Global Music brand on the search for a Management Accountant. The ideal candidate would have a true passion for Music.


  • Provide monthly management accounts to Head Office
  • Prepare artist deal appraisals for new and existing artists
  • Responsible for preparation of the monthly Forecast
  • Responsible for cost control within all departments
  • Assist in providing monthly UK P&L analysis and commentary
  • Upkeep and maintain the general ledger
  • Prepare the monthly internal booklet and Head Office reporting
  • Produce UK balance sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayments
  • Carry out ad hoc analysis and reports for Marketing and Finance functions
  • Bank postings reconciliations across the group in partnership with the other junior Management Accountant
  • Posting and reconciling intercompany invoices and balances in partnership with the other junior Management Accountant
  • Provide a support service by working with all departments, sharing useful reports in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring adequate record keeping and invoices are signed off
  • Assist in production of VAT Returns
  • Develop an ongoing understanding of the systems and procedures of the whole Finance Department
  • Ensure that all work is in line with HQ policies and procedures

Ideal Candidate:

  • Part -Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Must be degree qualified
  • Ideally SAP user
  • Must be have Music/Media experience previously
  • Able to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and general interpersonal skills
