Media Analyst - Retail - SQL
We currently have a Media Analyst (reporting and Insights) role available for a high profile Retail company with UK headquarters in North London. This is a great opportunity to working on various high profile projects and they continue to expand.
The role of the Media analyst will be key in shaping major decisions through data-driven insights.
Essential:
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Curiosity about customer motivations and human behaviour
- Strong communication, teamwork and influencing skills
- Experience with SQL and Spreadsheet Software
- Strong communicator (both written and verbal)
- Excellent stakeholder management
Desirable:
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce or FMCG consumer-facing business
- Tableau
- Python or Similar
- Proven experience conducting statistical thinking
- Numerate or Technical Degree
Role:
- SQL code to extract appropriate data from our Oracle and BigQuery databases
- Excel/Tableau to automate.
- Coach and support Junior Analysts
- Develop understanding of data available to guide suppliers on best options
- build new functionality and further enhance the consultation proposition
- work closely with Trading, Sales and Insight teams
