Handle Recruitment is working with an innovative Music Agency that specialises in brand marketing, content production and music design to find a Music Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an avid follower of contemporary music culture and naturally 'on it'!

A driver's licence and own car is desirable.

Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the creative direction and operational management of the Music Department, to deliver music concepts to high profile brands in the UK and internationally
  • Use your natural cultural awareness and extensive knowledge of music to curate brand sounds for demanding clients
  • Devise music playlists, develop music concepts, drive creative and operational fulfilment for new and existing clients
  • Conduct music consultancy process with new and existing clients
  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of clients' music provision: this involves taking briefs directly from clients and working with them, our Account Managers and Operations Team to deliver accurate and timely music provision
  • Represent the music expertise of the agency at clients meetings
  • Involve in pitch process for new clients
  • Organise multiple projects and overall delivery pipeline; oversight and responsibility for processes within internal departments
  • Line Management of Department Personnel

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep interest in and knowledge of music of different genres
  • Experience of working in music/ as a DJ (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position and experience of team management
  • Knowledge of digital and music technology
  • MS Word and Excel knowledge and experience
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task for project management
  • Ability and flair to produce music profiling to a high standard
  • Strong commercial and business acumen and client liaison skills
