Network Infrastructure Specialist
Circa £60,000 - Central London
Handle are currently working with a Global Music & Events Brand in London. They are now currently looking for a Network Infrastructure Specialist to work with their Director of Network Infrastructure.
You will be working across multiple music & event venues and you'll be primarily responsible for the maintenance and development of their IT Network Infrastructure, including wireless & telephony. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will work with customers, systems & suppliers to enhance their systems further.
It's essential you will have worked with Cisco for a number of years and have come from a Hospitality, Events, Broadcast or Media environment.
Responsibilities of Network Infrastructure Specialist (Cisco):
-Support and maintain the network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, wireless access points, wireless LAN controllers, and telephony at a multiple of European music & event venues in the UK & Europe.
-Manage the security of the network infrastructure including responding to possible threats and vulnerabilities
-Maintain current knowledge of new network hardware and software and recommend upgrades
Key Skill-Set of Network Infrastructure Specialist (Cisco):
-Must have significant experience in configuring and managing Cisco routers. At least 5 years minimum
-Previous experience with configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
-Previous experience with configuring and managing Cisco Unified Communications Manager
-You must have industry experience within the Hospitality, Events, Broadcast or Media Industry. This is a must have requirement.
