Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network and Server Engineer to join a leading London based entertainment business on an initial six week contract.

Joining at a particularly busy time, you will work as part of the technical support team on a range of business critical projects. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of both Cisco and Windows Server technologies, who will be up to speed straight away and able to contribute towards the successful delivery of projects. You will be comfortable with performing IOS upgrades on stacked switches.

To be considered for this role you must have proven commercial experience as a Network/Server Engineer, ideally in a media/entertainment/creative environment. In addition we are looking for the following;

  • Software deployment experience
  • Strong Cisco skills (and ideally a qualification), including performing Cisco IOS upgrades on Cisco network switches
  • In depth exposure to Windows 2008 and 2012
  • Experience of printer firmware and settings upgrades
  • Symantec Backup Exec 2015 configuration
  • Ideally exposure to VMware

We are looking for people who are positive, enthusiastic and organised. This is a six week contract role, with the possibility of an extension, and as such we need people who are able to start immediately.
