Operations Manager - Technology Start-Up
My exciting client is seeking an Operations Manager with experience working in a technology environment to join a London based music technology start-up and take responsibility for all elements of the operational process that deliver products to consumers.
With a range of revolutionary product ideas and solid backing, this is a company that is well placed to make a huge impact on the music industry. This role will be critical in enabling the company to achieve their goals, and will have involvement in all operation processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an innovative, forward thinking company and play a key role in their long term success.
This will be an all-encompassing Operations Manager role that will have involvement with all aspects of the business. You will take responsibility for defining forward and reverse supply chains, will manage relationships with key third party suppliers, and will be constantly looking to refine and improve processes. It's a start up environment, so it's fast paced and constantly evolving, but you will have a real opportunity to influence decisions and will be integral to the success of the company.
To be considered for the role you will need a track record of commercial experience in an Operations Manager role or similar, with a strong preference for experience in the technology industry working with consumer products. You will also have demonstrable experience of the following;
- Contract manufacturing, including developing manufacturing strategies.
- Defining and implementing forward and reverse supply chains.
- Managing relationships with key suppliers, including negotiating contracts.
- Defining key operational processes, and ensuring that these are adaptable as the business grows.
This role will have involvement at every stage of getting a technology product to a consumer. You will need a broad understanding of the technology industry, strong project management skills and the ability to deliver results in any situation. Global experience would be highly beneficial, as would a knowledge of and interest in the music industry.
If this sounds interesting then I'd love to hear from you.
