PA to CEO - Media

Seeking £28,000 - £32,000

Are you looking to join a dynamic and driven Media company? Do you love working in a business and personal PA capacity but have struggled to find one that doesn't require you to be available 24/7? Are you looking for a fun and busy working environment with likeminded media colleagues? Then this is the role for you.

A friendly, sociable yet professional team, you will need a strong work ethic and outgoing personality. A classic personal assistant role with approximately 50 per cent business and personal split, you will be responsible for supporting a busy and entrepreneurial CEO on a day-to-day basis. You will heed to be highly proactive, on the ball, be able to pre-empt problems and be highly adaptable. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting demanding senior employees or executive board members in a fast-paced environment, be well presented and have the ability to work independently, prioritise and find creative and robust solutions. This is an involved position with high levels of responsibility where diplomacy and confidentiality are essential.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Complex international diary management and travel co-ordination across different time zones.
  • Meeting and conference call co-ordination, restaurant bookings. Minute taking may occasionally be required.
  • General administrative support and assistance of file maintenance, printing etc.
  • Liaising with the finance department to complete complex expenses and purchasing on behalf of the CEO.
  • Bank Payment co-ordination and liaison.
  • First point of contact for all visitors/ screening of phone calls, mail etc.
  • Occasionally assisting the client services department with event co-ordinating for staff events/client events.
  • Private elements to role include but not limited to the following: purchasing of club memberships, arranging visas, renewing football season tickets, renewing car insurance/car tax, paying house bills, charity donation payments as well as managing specific projects such as planning holidays, organising family events and house moves etc.

Skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable PA and office management experience supporting board level or MD level equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident communication skills and assertive.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to problem solve and use initiative.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Flexible, highly adaptable attitude.
  • Strong MS office skills, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power point and Excel.
  • Has worked in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Fantastic organisation skills, prioritisation and time management.
