Job Description

Handle Recruitment is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join an industry-leading retail business based in Central London. Working in the heart of Central London, the Payroll Administrator will be a key member of the finance function and work closely with both the Financial Controller and Payroll Manager.

Working within a very experienced yet sociable team, this will be an extremely fast-paced role working on high-volume payroll.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly payroll
  • Post journal to nominal ledger
  • Print/email all payslips
  • Complete P45's for leavers
  • Create salary payments and other ad hoc payments
  • Administer payroll amendments and new personnel details, including tax codes and student loan notifications

  • Additional ad-hoc duties

We are looking for someone with previous payroll experience, working in an accounts department. The ideal candidate must have excellent time management skills, Excel skills and a good attention to detail.
