Personal Assistant & Office Manager - International Events Company
£30,000
Full Time: 9am till 5pm

My client is an energetic global event design and technical production company with offices in both London and Dubai. They are currently looking for a well-rounded PA & Office Manager to join their expanding London office.


The Role

  • Updating the website and liaising with the Dubai team, ensuring they have content for both branches.
  • Regularly posting on the company's social media on behalf of both branches.
  • Designing the quarterly Group Newsletter on MailChimp.
  • Writing case studies to submit for the award season.
  • Booking photographers for events.
  • Liaising with PR agents to get press releases out in a timely manner.
  • Writing job specifications with assistance from the team, collating CVs and shortlisting applicants.
  • Preparing documents for personnel, such as issuing offer letters and contracts.
  • Booking in appraisals, taking notes and managing the internal HR software.
  • Organising and booking in training for the team on an ad hoc basis.
  • Tracking leave for the team using online software.
  • Signing off expenses and overtime for Accounts.
  • Ordering uniform and business cards.
  • Filling out forms, writing letters and meticulous filing of all documents.
  • Taking minutes at meetings when required.
  • Assisting the MD in preparing board papers biannually.
  • Taking on some of the MD's responsibilities and deputising for MD, making decisions and delegating work to others.
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate on behalf of the MD.
  • Support MD in ad hoc duties.


The Person

  • Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Strong computing skills is essential. Must be confident picking up new software quickly.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a discreet manner.
  • A can do attitude, positive, honest, reliable and energising.
