Handle are recruiting for one of the top 20 consumer agencies in London and one of the top 250 global agencies. Based in a fantastic office in the heart of Central London, my client is looking for an exceptional and highly commercial Account Director with strong strategic client consultancy skills, able to lead the creative thinking and development of PR strategies and high impact campaigns.

You will join a fun, passionate and talented global team working across some of the most talked about brands in the world. Forget the usual PR campaigns - they work across super creative PR strategies running pop up experiential events, music & fashion partnerships and social media campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be an influential thought-leader with rock PR experience across global consumer and lifestyle PR. You will be a results-focused strategic thinker excited about the power of story-telling and with a great team spirit.
As an Account Director part of your responsibilities will include :
  • Contribute to global strategy planning and development of department
  • Hosting brainstorming meetings and come up with creative ideas for strategic PR campaigns
  • Direct a varied portfolio of campaigns focussing on building awareness and relationship management
  • Team management and ensuring the delivery of campaigns across all campaigns
  • Develop and nurture key media relationships
  • Maintain a good understanding of clients' business objectives, media and issues in their wider industry sector and managing of programmes to enable them to meet those objectives
  • Directing existing and new clients, taking the lead on strategy and implementation on integrated campaigns
  • Internal management and leadership of account teams
