Handle is working with one of the world's largest music publishers to find their next Product Manager. This wholly-owned group also distributes a range of musical products worldwide - via its bricks-and-mortar stores and its leading on-line business.
Supporting the Head of Commercial Marketing and liaising with the senior commercial leaders, you will be responsible for the content of the catalogue ranges sold across the retail brands in UK and Europe. Your focus will be -
* Maximising the sales revenue and trading margin achieved by each catalogue range, within the retail sales and trade channels.
* To maximise and favour the sales of new release and existing products within all product ranges along with identifying lead line promotional products with suppliers.
* To identify and offer new 3rd party products to compliment and optimise existing catalogue ranges, or discontinue 3rd party products within the product guidelines issued by Operations.
* To work closely with the Pricing Manager to ensure catalogue product is re-promoted at the most attractive/ profitable price to gain additional sales at optimum periods.
We are looking for at previous commercial catalogue management experience within retail or publishing - knowledge of retail and on-line buying and merchandising would be a bonus.
Strong music and musician market knowledge is essential.
