Handle are actively seeking an experienced Sales Executive to work with a leading international exhibitions business. The role would predominantly involve selling stand space and sponsorship for one of Europe's leading health B2B events. The ideal candidate will be a talented and highly motivated sales person with the ability to grow new business and consistently over achieve.
- Selling stand space and sponsorship packages for one of the client's largest annual shows, including being able to cross sell to international clients (mainly based in Asia). - To be able to work closely within a team of 4 other Sales Executives and report into both the Sales Manager and Portfolio Manager. - To successfully archive all monthly targets and be confident in hitting weekly KPI's. - Build an understanding of the market, understand key trends and language to support your sales conversations. - Be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with experience of calling senior level executives. - Foster positive customer relationships and internal relationships with all your event partners whilst also identifying new business opportunities. - Deliver agreed revenue targets by value and volume. - Maintain strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation. -Communicate effectively with internal departments such as marketing, operations, finance.
- Experience is selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages. - Media sales experience would also be preferable, but not essential. This would include selling delegate packages for conferences, advertising space in the magazines, etc. - Money motivated. - Highly effective telephone sales skills, with strong closing ability. - Pro-active, persuasive & confident. - Proven track record in delivering and exceeding sales targets. - International Travel will be required. - Thinks outside the box to provide create solutions for clients' needs. - Language skills would also be a huge plus.
