Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest independent TV & Film production companies as a Royalties Coordinator to support the growing business.

You will assist the Royalties team and report into the Royalties Manager (RM)

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Process talent residuals statements;
  • Build relationships with talent agencies - 1st point of contact;
  • Assist with the preparation & upload of loading files of gross sales for upload into the talent system for sign off by RM;
  • Develop a working knowledge of the talent system "Alliant" including distribution of statements;
  • Work with producers to collate title schedule of residuals;
  • Set-up new titles in the talent system & produce title sign off document for RM;
  • Run reports from the talent system and reconcile residuals results;
  • Process VAT-only invoices & VAT self-billing agreements;
  • Assist RM in locating email addresses and bank details of talent;
  • Produce collection society royalty reports (PRS, PPL, Directors UK);
  • Provide cover for RM;
  • Maintain royalties tracker - track as reporting received. Chase or escalate as necessary;
  • Assist in tracking / invoicing / reporting non-standard Royalties Receivable;
  • Processing of straight forward standard royalties receivable reports;
  • Send royalties invoices & chase debtors;
  • Ad hoc analysis of royalties receivable deals;
  • Maintenance of royalties receivable software - onboarding new partners & working with digital team to improve efficiency;
  • Periodic reporting for the rest of the royalties team & other departments in the business;
  • Manage the royalties email account - separating royalties receivable, talent and producer emails and responding as necessary;
  • Create monthly royalties summary, helping to promote the Rights & Royalties team throughout the business;
  • Assist with forecasting of royalties;
  • Book meeting rooms for team meetings;
  • Basic knowledge of quarterly producer royalty runs;

  • Knowledge of TV distribution and Royalties experience an advantage.
