Job Description

Working with the fastest growing online grocery to support with the role out of a new insight subscription product to their established client base!

  • Deliver templated and bespoke pitches for sale to Suppliers, to a consistently high standard
  • Understand Supplier expectations and ensure these are delivered, whilst managing the expectations of the Suppliers
  • Develop understanding of data available to guide suppliers on best options for tailored packages
  • Collaborate with Sales team to build bespoke packages for suppliers and track the progress of each in detail
  • Create and maintain relationships, both internally and externally, with Trading, Sales and Insight teams
  • Develop a detailed sales roadmap and track progress
  • Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales
  • Multi tasking the admin of numerous contracts at the same time
  • Possess strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience in retail or consumer-facing FMCG
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in data and insights
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven record of hitting sales targets
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • Tableau experience would be advantageous
  • People management experience would be advantageous
