An iconic global entertainment publisher are looking for a Senior Content Manager to join their growing London based team and take responsibility for all aspects of content marketing, from developing high level strategy to coordinating execution.
Working as part of a global marketing team tasked with generating and distributing content for both B2B and B2C audiences, you will take ownership of content strategy and direction across multiple digital channels. This is a great opportunity to join a unique and innovative company, and play a key role in creating and delivering compelling content for a large and diverse audience.
This will be a broad and ever evolving role, and comes with the challenge of balancing the content strategy and direction with the day to day tasks of content execution. You will be working with a number of different audiences and content channels, and content will need to be optimised for each to ensure its effectiveness. You will be responsible for analysing content, and constantly seeking ways to improve it. You will also need to stay abreast of industry trends, as well as gaining insight from competitors to enable future campaigns to be improved or new products / features to be created.
You will be working in a content rich environment and will need to build strong working relationships with colleagues both in the digital team and further afield. You will be the expert on everything content related and will work closely with content creators on a regional and a global scale. You will need to be able to adapt and refine processes, and will have both the expertise and the confidence to make suggestions and to influence decisions.
To be considered for this role you will need a proven track record of commercial experience in a Content Manager role or similar, and you will have worked for a content provider (ideally in publishing, broadcast, music or gaming) or a comparable, content heavy business. In addition you must be able to demonstrate clear evidence of the following;
- Very strong writing and editing skills.
- An excellent knowledge of social media channels and the different content requirements needed to be successful on them (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram and Google Plus).
- Experience in running multi-channel campaigns and in managing content calendars across multiple channels.
- Experience working with a CMS, a good understanding of SEO and basic HTML skills.
We are also looking for people with ambition, drive and enthusiasm, and the ability to take ownership of tasks and push them through to a successful resolution. You will need incredible attention to detail but also the ability to see the bigger picture, and you will have strong communication skills, and be comfortable presenting ideas to others.
This role would suit someone looking to develop their career with a well-respected and successful brand, and who has the capability and aptitude to work in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.
